The Sprinkler!

Lets talk about the Sprinkler!

A thought i had from the OutFlow study:Week 1~day 2. The sprikler,the sprikler flows no matter what is under it or around it,it waters "everything in its area".Wether it be beautiful plants and flowers,dead grass,extravagant flowers,ugly weeds,tasty fruit,or just dry dirt..it covers it all. Just like the sprinkler,God wants us to poor out love on everyone!(I know it sounds a little silly to be compared to a sprinkler,but just hear me out.) Sometimes (alot of the times) we choose who to poor out love on.We look at,what they ware,how they talk,who they hang out with,wether their known as popular,nerdy,prepy,dorky,scary,wealthy or poor.or some other catagory we would put them in,and then we become a little high on ourselves,and choose not to talk to them or show them Gods love.Sounds kinda harsh huh?But dont we do that all the time?Or maybe you dont,may your just shy. But we have to poor our Gods love on everyone,we cant pick and choose,wouldnt that be a pretty messed up sprinkler if it only watered spots of the yards?and not the dry dirt?or dying flowers?And think about it arent they the ones that need it the most?The sprinkler...waters everything around it,everything it can reach. Gods love should flow out of us on "Everyone" it can possibly reach! No one is to dirty or to far gone for us to love, and i thank God that he didnt think so either!

Matthew 5:44,46-47

But i say unto you, love you enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

For if you love them that love you, what reward have you? do not even the publicans the same? And if you salute your brethren only, what do you more than others? do not even the publican do that too?

Revolution

The theme for our Wednesday nights is Revolution, a sudden, radical, or complete change. It is a hope that if you do not know Jesus Christ as your Savior then you would accept Him as your Savior. It takes a radical and complete change to do so. If you do know Christ as your Savior then the prayer is that you would evaluate your life and make sudden, radical and complete changes to continue to grow closer in your relationship with Christ.

Romans 12:1-2 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. It takes a heart of a revolutionist to stand against the ways of the world to follow God's ways. In Revolution on Wednesday we are studying five of some of the emotions we have and how God would desire us to use them correctly and not let them interfere in having a healthy relationship with Him. Last week we studied about guilt, how we have good guilt and bad guilt, this Wednesday we will be looking at worry in how it effects us, what God says about it, and how he would desire us to handle the worry in our life. Outflow

On Sundays for small group time we will be focusing on evangelism. We will be doing a program called Outflow, everyday outreach for everyday youth. Our focus verse will be Acts 1:8 "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." What would our life be like if we resembled a fountain? For us? For others? For the first week we will be looking at A Promise of Overflowing Life. Hope to see you Sunday night at 4:45pm. Celebrate Freedom

June 30th

All day Christian Concert

On Saturday June 30th we will be meeting at the church at 6:00am. Do not worry the concert is free!!! Just bring money for anything that you want to buy like cds, shirts, food or anything else that they are selling. We will be putting up a list for food to bring so check the hallway for the sign-up sheet. Very important: Bring lawn chairs to sit on. It is going to be one fun filled day! New way to communicate

Well, we finally did it. We now have an official way to communicate on the Internet together without having to just email each other. We now have a central location where we can share life together. We can share thoughts, activities, questions or anything else that is important to us. We will also be putting on what is going on in the youth ministry so you can be up to date on what is going on.
